The Holy Roman Germanic Empire was composed of stem Duchies, electing the Emperor. The House of Reginar, Dukes of Brabant, are of Imperial ranking by personal status. Other Duchies were ranked on their territorial basis, now disappeared. The de jure existence of the H.-R.-G. Empire is now linked to the perdurance of the House of Reginar, cadet Carolingian line, taking its roots into the ancient Roman Imperial Clan voa the Gallo Roman Ferreolus Syagrii Senatorial House. As heirs to crowned Charles I of Lothringen, the House of Reginar are also de jure Carolingian Monarchy of France.
